ABOUT THE BAND
A group of talented musicians, ‘DLUX’ is your finest option for your party this season. Each with extensive recording, touring and performing resumes, these highly trained professional musicians have the experience and skill to play all genres of music and are guaranteed to bring you an amazing show.

Fronted by three very soulful ladies, Johanna Sillanpaa, Lyndsey Hoff & Kait Shane, this 10 piece group bring the new and the classic top 40 hits to life on stage with a high-energy and fun-filled show that is guaranteed keep you dancing all night long.

ABOUT THE SHOW
DLUX was founded in 2008 after it’s leading ladies Sillanpaa & Hoff decided to join forces and create a party band with an updated & current Top 40 repertoire. The ladies take pride in being able to offer music that’s current and recognizable but also being able to bring out the big hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. They recognize that every event is unique and encourage clients be as hands on as they want in the repertoire selection and will do anything they can to make your event a success.

THE LEADING LADIES ARE:

Lyndsay Hoff (Vocals)
This Canadian country soul singer was raised on a ranch in rural Alberta and the first time she stormed the stage she was only nine years old. Her vocals are a cross between powerhouse Aretha Franklin and Joss Stone, making her stage presence undeniable. Lyndsey is proud to be releasing her debut solo album in the spring of 2014.

Johanna Sillanpaa (Vocals)
Beyond filling venues in Canada and abroad, Sillanpaa’s 3 solo albums have drawn its fair share of accolades and award nominations, including 3 national Canadian Music Award nominations. Read more about Johanna on her BIO page.

Kait Shane (Vocals)
Born in Montreal, Kathy was love struck real young with all things musical and anything with a ‘set’. When choosing between singing and acting and voice-over she picked all three. It’s resulted in heavy rotation airplay, an international voice over career, a long tv and theatre resume, and radio hosting.

AND THE BAND IS:

Sheldon Zandboer (Keyboard)
Sheldon’s unparalleled knowledge of musical idioms is just one of the reasons why he is one of Western Canada’s premier keyboard players. A professional freelance musician, he performs standards, classic pop and Brazilian jazz.

Aaron Young/Neil McVey (Guitar)
Aaron is a brilliant and talented guitarist, well known throughout Western Canada for his prolific writing and arranging. Aaron’s work has been featured on a variety of television networks such as PBS, CBC, MTV and the BBC.

Kodi Hutchinson (Bass)
Electric and double Bassist Kodi Hutchinson has established himself as one of the top-call bassists in Western Canada. Kodi talents are in wide demand whether in the studio or on stage and you can find him hosting the weekly Jazz show on radio network CKUA every week.

Tyler Hornby (Drums)
One of the most versatile and contemporary drummers in Canada. He is in high demand as a jazz, funk and Latin drummer. Tyler has toured around North America, South America and Europe, where his drumming is a popular staple at many jazz festivals, clubs, and concerts.
